TJX Hacker Gets 20 Years in Prison
Albert Gonzalez was sent to prison for 20 years for leading a gang of cyber-thieves into stealing over 90,000,000 (ninety million) credit and debit card numbers from TJX and other places. He also has to pay $25,000 (twenty-five thousand dollars). This scares me because I don't want people to steal my money. It's a good thing I don't have a credit or debit card. I'm glad they're sending this man to jail. He deserves it.-Katie Mulvey
FBI Can't Crack Android Pattern-Screen Lock
We all know that the pattern-screen lock is secure. But this article tells us just how secure.
The FBI claims that forensics experts tried multiple times to unlock a Samsung Exhibit II handset, but failed. Dan Rosenberg, a consultant at a Boston-based Virtual Security Research, said that you could extract the data from the phone by taking it apart. But when you do this, there is a risk of damaging the phone's insides. I think that this is safe but also unsafe. I think I will get this phone.
